Hippocrates said, “Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food.” Good nutrition really is the basis for healing. And yes, you really are what you eat. When it comes to overall health, nothing is more important than good nutrition and a working digestion.

To that end, I hope to provide you with both the necessary guidance and moral support to really make positive changes in what you eat and/or what you feed your family.

I can help you but the arbiter of change has to be you. Changing your diet is hard but being sick, or watching a loved one suffer in illness, is harder. Commit to this and you will find that after a short time, it really isn’t as difficult as you thought it would be.

I do not know everything and I can be wrong. I am 100% committed to helping you, but I will not pretend that I have all the answers. In fact, a word of advice: run away as fast as possible from anyone who does claim to have “the answer.” My first mentor, Dr. Sidney Baker, always quoted this and I live by these words:

“Believe in those who seek the truth, doubt those who’ve found it.”

Even if you don’t see dramatic changes from a healthy diet, stick with it. Make it a lifelong commitment. Set realistic goals, and stick to them.

Remember: no matter what, it’s better to eat good, nutritious food.
